Hi! I am looking for a moderate hotel, pensione. or B & B in Capri in mid-October in the Marina Piccola area. It is very difficult to do this on the internet as only the $$$ have web sites. Any suggestions. I am looking for clean, comfortable and quiet. Many thanks for any suggestions. Pat

Capri is expensive. Try Venere.com for smaller hotels & B&Bs or stay in Sorrento and ferry across to Capri.

Gretings! Thank you very much. I appreciate your specific suggestion. I have been on the internet all morning (on dial-up, no less) reading reviewers cranky opinions about places all over Capri with moldy grout and mildewed shower curtains. There are several places in there that would meet your "moderate" requirements. TA rates the establishments based on user reviews, and you can also sort by price.
If you have a question about one of the places you can send an EMail to one or more of the reviewers.
