Can anyone recommend a good hiking guide for Capri? Interested in hiking and photography on the island.
Do you mean a person or book? The island is so small, I don't think a personal guide would be needed. I hiked on the Amalfi coast and used two books, both which I believe also contained Capri hike descriptions. One is published by Sunflower and the other Cicerone.
Hi there, golddog -
I really don't think you need anything more than the online website for Capri (ignore the touts for tours: you don't need them) and a map. Get the map from the tourist info center when you arrive, which is what we did for our treks.
Here's the page for walking and hiking:

Click on any of the options listed for info and directions.
There are a few described and mapped out on this site as well:
There are some very long walks on paved roads on Capri, like the famous steps, and the trip to the Villa Jovis. I only mention this because you need to save some of your hot-weather stamina if you wanted to do these walks. Most of Capri is pedestrian only. Even taxis cannot drop you off at every single trailhead, I'm sure.
