We’re going to take the ferry from Naples to Capri for one evening before leaving to spend three nights in Sorrento. We’re looking for a cute hotel mid range pricing in Capri town. Anyone have a great recommendation?

We did one night in Capri but that was over 35 years ago, don't remember the small hotel.
Capri is special. We did the Blue Grotto, I recommend it.

I stayed in the Relais Meresca (http://www.booking.com/Share-uXGNOc) which was very close to the ferry and not up on top of Capri (accessible by funicular). It was a lovely place and I had a water view, but I should caution you that hotels in Capri are relatively expensive (so be prepared to find mid-range expensive, which will still be quite costly). I would go on Booking.com and filter by your price range. Also consider Anacapri, which is just as lovely and may be less expensive. Personally, if you are only there one day, I would take the time to stroll and hike and explore little walking passages throughout the island, and skip the (overtouristed IMHO) Blue Grotto.

Thanks Agnes, Yes, I've already done the blue grotto. I ended up finding a hotel with excellent reviews for about $350/night. It's Villa Silia if anyone is looking. Reviews look excellent! If anyone has any favorite restaurants I'd love to get suggestions since we'll only be there for one dinner.
