Capri ferry

I've seen this question posed before, but I'll ask again for a more specific answer for my dates. Should I pre-book ferry tickets for a first possible ferry on June 25th? This is high season? I'd prefer to have a little flexibility, but don't want to get stuck having to wait. Will I want to pre-book the return ticket?

Thanks!

Note that you didn’t mention the point of origin. But this is peak season. If you feel you have downloaded schedules from ALL vendors, and you like the size of the ferry (referring to seasickness!) sure, book it. If you are unwise enough to want the very last ferry of the day, you should certainly pre-book. The ferry company will pressure you to buy a certain return so they get your money AND so you don’t spend the night on Capri.
