Does anyone have a good recommendation of a guide/tour who speaks English well to go from Rome to Capri for the day?

kathleen, I don't know of any Guides from Rome that offer tours to Capri, but you could check the listings in the Guidebook. Another option to consider would be to perhaps meet your Guide in Sorrento, and then travel from there to Capri for the day. You could try [email protected] or [email protected] to see if they're available at the time you'll be there (Note: there's also a famous Italian journalist with the same name). Using a Guide will be a bit "pricey", but if you have a small group the cost is reasonable. Happy travels!
