Hello veteran Italy tourists! Our family of 4 will be staying in Sorrento for three nights toward of the end of June and plan to spend one day on Capri and another day touring the Amalfi Coast. We received a few tour recommendations and offers from our Airbnb hosts. I'm curious what the vets think and whether any of these options are worth the investment. I have an idea what I should or shouldn't do but I would appreciate helpful comments.
First option for Capri by boat:
- including cruise along the Sorrento and Massa Lubrense Coasts, sightseeing tour of the Island of Capri, White Cave, Coral Cave, Green Cave and Blue Cave on request
- Stop for swimming
- Free time to visit the Island of capri (3-4 hours)
- Soft drinks served on board
- Light Lunch (Caprese Sandwich)
- Snorkel (on request)
- The excursion lasts 7-8 hours, max 12 passengers on board
- 125€ per person; free pick up in the morning and drive back home at the end of the day.
Second option for Amalfi by boat:
- including cruise along the Sorrento Coast, Massa Lubrense and Amalfi coasts (Nerano, Positano, Praiano, Amalfi ) with sightseeing tour of the LI GALLI ISLANDS
- the same activities mentioned in the Capri tour plus:
- 1 hour free time in Positano;
- 1 hour and half free time in Amalfi;
- price is 140€ for person; with pick up and drop off
Third option for Amalfi by private minivan:
- a full day tour of the Amalfi Coast including stop in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello provided with an English speaking driver
- driver will come pick you up at property, make some stops on the way to give the possibility of taking pictures, enjoying views and will be at your disposal for that day
- price would be 450€ for the group and includes all costs
