Capri and Amalfi coast from Naples

Can someone recommend a boat ride from Naples which would take us to Capri (where we could get off the boat) and also get to the Amalfi coast - and back to Naples?
We are thinking of taking the ferry from Naples to Capri and then the ferry in the afternoon from Capri to Amalfi or Salerno
Has anyone done that? Does the ferry also offer beautiful views of the coast?

Lesley, you can take a ferry to Capri from Naples. This is the current schedule:

From Capri you can take another ferry to Amalfi or Salerno but as you will see it's time consuming and runs are limited:

IMHO, Capri really needs a full day to explore. I personally wouldn't recommend trying to do that one + Amalfi in a day, and would only take a ferry onward to Salerno if intending on taking a train back to Naples.

We've taken a high-speed ferries from Naples to Capri and Capri to Sorrento, and between Sorrento and Positano. I don't know as I'd call the view "beautiful" - it's somewhat restricted from inside the hydofoils - but it's good enough.
