Has anyone taken a ferry from Naples to Capri and back the same day? Traveling with my 18 and 15yr old grandkids. Staying in Naples but would love for them to experience Capri.

Sure, you can do that. If you are going in high season, you should probably book in advance. Book the earliest ferry going, and at least the ferry leaving BEFORE the last ferry returning.

Yes, a day trip from Naples to Capri is totally doable. I did it with my family last June. The ferries are frequent and fast (around 45-60 minutes each way), so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the island.
