Hello, I have been trying to purchase the 1.50 Euro reservation to enter St. Mark's in Venice for the last few days. The site will let me get through most of the order, but when I have entered all my information and I am ready to go to the payment screen, I hit the NEXT button and a little circle pops up and rotates endlessly. I successfully purchased tickets from the same site on my last trip to Venice, so I know it's possible. Is anyone else having trouble with the site? Is there some other place I can book the reservation without any surcharge? I really love to pre-book things - it makes my travels so much easier, but I am stuck and could use some ideas. Thanks

I would clear my cache and try it again. Another option may be to use a different browser. There may be a bug with the application or something is passing from your current page that shouldn't be. has this message: On the Venetoinside portal you can book your reserved access to St. Mark's Basilica avoiding the ever-present queue at the main entrance and its average waiting time of 45 minutes. The service is available from April 1st to October 31st every year and the online reservation can be made up to 10 minutes before the chosen visiting time, for a maximum of 8 people. Since it is not yet April 1, maybe that is the problem.

Thanks! I am using that site and I hadn't thought that maybe it's not up and running for the summer yet. I just assumed that since I was buying tickets for June there would be no problem. I will see what happens in April.
