Can you help with suggestions for a picture book gift to take to an Italian family?

We will be visiting a family in Marche that we have become good friends with over the years. We would like to take a picture book as a gift. They love nature. We would prefer taking a paperback book, due to weight, but a hardcover is not out of the question. The book does not need to be small.
We are from Seattle, but possibly one the national parks? We are open to other ideas too. Thank you!

So “picture book” really refers to a children’s book that is primarily pictures and relies mostly on pictures with some text to tell a story. I don’t think that is really what you are talking about. Can you clarify?

I'm assuming like a coffee table book or a book with lots of photos. The national parks have great "souvenir" books. I'd recommend one from Olympic and one from Rainier.

Or perhaps a collection of local foods--coffee, cherry jam or syrup, dried cherries, chocolate, smoked salmon (packaged appropriately)

Yes, we are looking for a photo book. Foods are a fun gift idea but hard to take food to a country so full of great food.
Hoping for suggestions for specific photo books. Amazon now only shows the cover photo and nothing inside the books,

Seattle has some great book stores. Im sure a place like Elliott Bay Books would have a good selection of coffee table books featuring the nature in the PNW. Someone there would be happy to help you find something appropriate

Do your friends travel? If so, how about a new journal decorated with nature illustrations or photos for their next trip?

I have National Geographic Complete National Parks of the United States which I think is nice. Hardcover
