Can you buy trenitalia tickets online and print at the station at ticket machine?

I don't have access to a printer and would need to take a vaporetto to get over to the train station in Venice. Don't want to take a chance of the tickets selling out - it looks like the first class tickets that were available this morning are gone.

Thanks!

If you're travelling in Italy:

  1. You don't need to print anything. You can memorize the PNR code or write it on the back of your hand... it doesn't matter. You can also show the PNR code to the conductor with a smartphone or a tablet. Note that if you're going to use regional trains you must show the PDF file, but you don't need to print it.
  2. Discounted first class tickets are gone , I'm sure there are plenty of full price seats. Train tickets do not sell out, out of a few big holidays like the 1st of May or the 15th of August it simply doesn't happen.

Are you sure you are not looking at a Regional train with only second class.
