Can you bring an IPad into the Vatican? Any limitations bringing an iPad anywhere in VFR?

I am planning on a three week trip to VFR in April (10 day VFR tour, 10 extra days in Florence and Rome).
I need to bring my iPad for occasional correspondence with work (no laptop, just an iPad)

Are there any limitations on where I can bring my iPad?

Can I bring an iPad into the Vatican/Sistine Chapel?

Limitations in bringing an iPad in other areas of Italy?

If you plan on using the camera function in "no Photo" areas it will be unwelcome

I've never noticed any restrictions with iPads in Italy. If taking photos in places where they're allowed, ensure you're not blocking the view of those behind you when you hold the iPad up to take a picture.

Does your iPad have cellular capability or will you just be using it on WiFi to communicate with work?
