Can't miss restaurants in Positano?

We are visting Positano for 4 days in September. Are there any can't miss restaurants?

I did figure out the filter search for recent posts and Positano seems to be one location lacking very many restaurant recommendations in the last 6 months. I only found these two:

Dinner at Bar Bruno, sit outside next to the rail, be sure to make reservations. Seating is limited.

Before dinners, you MUST go to Franco’s Bar for cocktails. It’s just down the street from Bar Bruno and very trendy. Seating is also limited, so go as soon as it opens in the evening. It fills us fast.. You won’t want to leave. It’s owned by the The Sirenuse Hotel. We went every evening, it’s very special.

Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi, Skipbee! There is a restaurant high above Positano with excellent views of the region - La Tagliata https://www.latagliata.com/ . They have a prix fixe meal that are all local and can include wine the restaurant owner makes. Highly recommend a taxi or shuttle to get there. We drove and it was quite a hairy experience for me....my husband enjoyed it immensly, so it depends on your sense of adventure!

We were recommended Ristorante Donna Rosa that has a nice view and great food we heard but we never made it. We tried getting there but they didn't tell us they could pick us up at the car station and we tried to get a taxi with no success. Turns out there is a certain place on the road you go to get taxis but by the time we got to it and waited for 15 minutes with no taxi coming, we were too late for our reservation so we gave up and walked back down the hill!

We ended up eating at this Italian restaurant Lo Guarracino http://www.loguarracinopositano.it/en/ around the corner from our hotel. There's a path and we walked a little while to get there but it was worth it! Up on the hill. Great service, great food! Didn't need a reservation (at least that night).

The outside Brasserie restaurant at our Hotel Covo dei Saraceni down on the water was very nice. Two other meals we ate at Chez Black right there on the water. It was casual, awesome food, and nice staff.

Have a great time!

Those are my recommendations above that I provided. We also had dinner at Chez Black, which is beachside. Very lively and enjoyable! We were there 3 nights and I can’t remember the 3rd restaurant, so it obviously wasn’t great.

Ristorante Don Giovanni at Albergo California was lovely. Delicious seafood with the quintessential view of Positano. The staff was very friendly. We stayed at this hotel which was equally as lovely. Enjoy bella Positano!
