Can't buy Galleria Borghese tickets?

Hello! I am trying to buy my tickets for the Galleria Borghese and it won't go through. This is the site that I am using: http://www.galleriaborghese.it/prenota-en.htm. The website lets me select the date that I want (in June) and takes me all the way through where I would put my card in. Once I put my card in, it tells me that it is declined. I called my card company and they put a travel allowance on it and they said that they don't understand why it isn't working - the ticket site isn't even trying to process my payment.

I would call the customer service, but it appears to only be in Italian. Can anyone else either confirm that they are unable to buy June tickets OR tell me that they were successful? I am trying to figure out if this is me or the website. Thanks!

One thing to check is to be sure that your credit card doesn't expire before or during the month you are planning to visit. I had the same problem in November and I switched cards with a later expiration month and all was fine.

If you continue to have problems, try contacting them via the email address provided at the bottom of the Customer Service page. Translated from Italian:

"Question: How can I reach Customer Service?

Reply:
If it has not been reflected to your question using the questions and answers in this section, we will reply willingly by email. For your requests in this please write to [email protected].
If the answer to your question is already present in this section the service will send you the reference to the answer on the site."

Or just give them a call: use the number provided for tourists who are using the Roma Pass and so are required to make reservations over the phone. +39 06 32810. Representatives are fluent enough in English to assist; just be sure to call during business hours Rome time.

Use their official site. http://www.tosc.it/tickets.html

Let your credit card company know about the charge. Also be sure to enter your security code where it says fiscal code. The problem could also be that they usually don't sell tickets more than 60 days in advance. The website is a bit weird (choose a seat) so it wouldn't surprise me if your transaction isn't going through simply because it's too early.

That wouldn't surprise me either, Donna. In the back of my foggy little brain somewhere I seem to remember a time when that was the case. Maybe it still is. It does look like it's the right site, though, as you get to the ordering page through a link on the linked page GB included.
