We only need two 24 hour Vaporetto passes. I read on the boards here that it is cheaper to buy the ACTV's Tourist Travel Cards online before we leave for Venice. Will we be able to pick it up the card at the Tronchetto parking garage Vaporetto stop?
Any suggestions? Thank you!

You can buy online and there is a spot at the parking garage where you can pick up your pass. But the discounts are basically a sliding scale and the date you need only discounts it by 90 euro cents, so why bother just get it at the first vaporetto ticket booth at the Tronchetto. Regualr 24 hour pass is 18 euro with the online purchade it is 17.10 http://www.veniceconnected.com/ecommerce/carrello.php?lang=2&g=20110924

Thank you for replying Ron. Would you recommend us reserving parking online ahead of time for the Tronchetto parking structure?
I am looking at Venice Connect website and I can't tell yet if the parking on there is for Tronchetto too. I would hate to arrive there and find it full.

I think that the veniceconnected site only does the garage at Piazzale Roma.
