Does anyone know if I can get a refund for our tickets that I purchased to see the Last Supper in Milan? I booked them as soon as they became available, but then our schedule changed. I purchased them through the official website, and there is no refund information on the site. My next step is calling them but wanted to see if anyone had an experience to share regarding this first.
Several websites try to pass themselves off as the official one. Which website did you use?
Its the one in Ricks book, vivaticket. I'm pretty sure it's official. It wasn't very much, about 36 Euros for 3 tickets, but still, if I can get a refund that would be more money for gelato...
Amanda,
According to the information found on the vivaticket website, it appears as though tickets cannot be refunded.
It doesn't hurt to try though, so I'd suggest calling them.
Question on how to get tickets--our family will be there in July, but on the website it seems like tickets for then aren't open yet. Do they open the tickets you can get only for a few months out at a time, so we need to wait?
yes, there is a page on the site that lists the date they go on sale. http://www.vivaticket.it/index.php?nvpg[evento]&id_show=63954&idt=744
It is the first week of April, but definitely mark the day on your calendar because they will sell out immediately!
Sorry, not all dates sell out immediately but some do.
Can you try to sell them here on the forum? Does anyone know? I'm looking for tickets and I just read that they went on sale yesterday, and I'm going to continue to try before I cancel my viatour reservation.
I'm in a similar situation. I wonder if you had any luck selling your tickets? I've got tickets which unfortunately can't be used. Anyone know the best way to sell tickets?
Thanks!
With apologies, our forum can not accept posts that attempt to sell or re-sell tickets. We'd like to be able to help, but there's a whole host of liability issues that we're not set up to handle if the forum is used as a middleman for transactions. Your best bet is ebay, craigslist, or other sites that are set up to handle or facilitate transactions.
