I can find many triple rooms, but the third bed is either a daybed, rollaway, or pullout couch. Can anyone recommend a hotel room with three real beds. One "king/queen" that fits two and a single are fine too. Thank you so much.
Nothing specific, but I have had good luck on Booking.com finding triples. You can filter results, but in Rome I am seeing some hotels, but mostly apartment type rooms. They do usually indicate the number of beds and sizes.
Look into Relais Grand Tour BnB in Florence. https://www.florencegrandtour.com/
We stayed in the "Actor Suite" room that matches what you describe and they have a larger suite upstairs as well. Host is on site and very helpful if you want. Good location - blocks from Accademia and Mercato - and their breakfast is at nice, student oriented cafe on the corner, laundromat on the same corner and good bus location on Via Ventisette Aprile.
I found it through a RS recommendation.
Have a great trip,

I have stayed in a triple with three beds at Hotel Alba Palace on Via della Scala in Florence. Alba Palace. It is located between the train station and Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. For us it was fine: moderately priced, decent location, and with a good breakfast selection included in price.
I stayed here last month and they had 3 real beds. It’s more an apartment hotel than a hotel with reception etc. however you can certainly find many hotels that have 3 real beds by using Booking or similar website.
Consider a convent/monastery stay. 3 bed rooms are common. Book thru monasterystays.com or just use that website as a resource and book direct. My wife and I love them. No need to be Roman Catholic orbany typenof Christian to stay there.
in Florence - Casa per ferie … Borgo Pinti is in a great location
In Rome - Casa Maria Immacolata in the Prati neighborhood
We did well last July in Hotel Smeraldo in Rome. Everybody…3 kids had their own bed and bathroom. We had 2 of these family rooms. Loved the location. Highly recommend!
I've been on many trips with two of my friends and we have always requested three beds. Often, the third bed is a smaller than twin sized bed. Thankfully, one of my friends is just barely five feet tall, so she has always graciously taken the smallest bed. You might send an email to the property to verify that they are offering a true twin sized bed. Good luck!
I stayed at Hotel Torre Guelfa in Florence in a triple room that had a queen bed and a single bed.
