We are picking up a motorhome from mcrent in Milano can any recommend a place to camp for a day or two to get our bearings and plan for our trip. Is there a good place to buy supplies for motorhomes close by ?

My trip is 5 weeks long ...I am traveling from Italy to France to watch the last two weeks of the "Tour de France" with two 12 y/o twin girls and my wife and 4 bicycles and equipment. I did it in 2004 with just my wife and a rental car. I moved from hotel to hotel and what a pain you spend your life packing and unpacking and having to be places at a certain time. Now I go where and when I want ... seems basic to me
