Has any one visited Campobasso and the surrounding area? Give us the scoop. If we want to end up in the Apulia region should we rent a car or take the train and possibly staying in Campobasso before we head over he the coast?

Nice region but mountainous, nearby you a small town called Guglionesi, my grandparents came to Ellis Island from there in 1903. Cute little place situated on a hilltop. Close by is Termoli.
