Campania artecard

Has anyone used the Campania artecard? We're going to be in the Naples/Sorrento/Amalfi area for about a week in early summer. I notice from their website that the 7-day card is only a couple of euros more than the 3-day version, but that the 7-day card doesn't cover transportation. We are museum junkies, so I suspect either will pay for itself. Any insights, recommendations, or problems? And has anyone tried buying it by phone, or is it better to wait and get one in Naples?

As with everything in Naples, nothing is straight foreward,

If you have 6 days in the area, you are actually better off buying 2-3day cards. Transportation in the entire area is included. Just make sure you use the most expensive attractions first.

If you bought the 7-day card, then you have to figure transport. The 3-day Unico Campania transportation card is 20E you would need 2.

If you only plan on staying in Naples, a daily ticket 3,70E would be the way to go.

The arte card is available at the train station (Napoli Centrali)

Thanks, Gerri. We may well try your idea of two 3-day cards. We're going to be there for 6 days, and our hotel is in Sorrento, so a pass covering transportation will be helpful. I'll play with the numbers to see what works best. Thanks for the input.
