I just bought this 7 day pass online and was curious if anyone else has and where and how do you get it validated

My wife and I got Campania ArteCards this last spring. We got the 3 day version.
As I recall (amazing what can be forgotten so quickly), we got two cards.
1) the ArteCard which was to get us into the museums, etc.
2) a transit pass for the Metro / Transit.
I believe that the transit pass was validated by getting it stamped in a machine at the first place we used it.
The 3 day pass got us into our first two sites for fee. 50% off thereafter. I wonder if they got stamped at the door/ticket counter (this is what I don't recall).

The 7 day card does NOT include transportation
It allows you access to the first 5 sites for free, use these on your most expensive sites. After the 5th site you get up to (includes most) 50% off as many as you can use in the remaining 7 days.
The problem arrives when your A, expensive site very near your C, less expensive site. So you need to figure the best, for you how to approach this problem. Here are some of the A sites...Pompeii, Ercolano, Caserta,Capodimonte,
Archeological Museum the B sites Palazzo Reale and Castel Nuovo
