Camogli in June ?

We have decided to go to Camogli from Milan at the end of June,( June 29 to July 4th) and from there head to Rome. Any comments/ideas/suggestions- are very, very appreciated. Grazie!

I visited Camogli as a day trip by train from Rapallo three summers ago. It was a pleasant day trip, but unfortunately the ferry from Camogli to Certosa San Fruttuoso was cancelled due to rough seas. Camogli is a very quaint village, main industries: tourism & fishing. It would be a relaxing place to stay and sun tan (if that's your thing). Otherwise, a day trip is long enough. No major attractions, but the setting is spectacular and it is very photogenic. I got some great photos just after a rainstorm looking at the peninsula jutting out from the beach.
