Camera Stores in Florence

My daughter is studying in Florence and left her firewire cable for downloading her photographs from her camera to her laptop. Do you know where she can buy one in the central part of Florence? Thank you.

Use the European branch of Amazon and it will be there tomorrow.

Anne, Have a look at This Website, as they may be able to provide the cable. Rather than using the Firewire cable, she could also consider buying an inexpensive Card Reader (probably USB) and use that to transfer photos to her Laptop. Cheers!

Can she ask her instructors who are presumably familiar with their town?

If your daughter is still looking for a cable, there's a store on Borgo San Lorenzo that sells cameras and accessories (also cell phones, CDs, etc). While I can't remember the name, it's near the San Lorenzo church end of the street and on the same side as the church. My hotel recommended the store, and I've made a few purchases there with good experience.

Sounds like the TIM store - I was there tonight looking for a charger. They didn't end up having one compatible with my camera, but they were extremely helpful and pointed me to Bongi on Via Por Santa Maria, which had it!
