We are arriving in Florence on 6/24 and are staying at an apartment about a minute walk to Piazza di Santa Croce. Was just informed by out host this morning that the Calcio Storico finals are taking place that day at the piazza and we likely need to arrive before 4pm. Looking online I don't think getting tickets will be an option but we are thinking we could attend the parade and watch at a bar.
Would love some insight on what to expect if there is anyone who has been in Florence on 6/24. Thanks!
