I am planning a trip to the Calabria region of Italy and need some suggestions as to what to do, side trips, restaurants, etc.
Hi Debbie, I'm an American who has lived in Calabria for four years, so I know my way around a bit. I have to say it really depends on which part you'll be focusing on, whether you're a beach and/or mountain person, interested in ruins and/or religious sites...there's so much to see and do in Calabria!
Please feel free to email me: bleedingespresso (dot) sognatrice (at) gmail (dot) com and check out my blog at http://www.bleedingespresso-sognatrice.blogspot.com for some more info on Calabria :)
it is great, that you would like to visit Calabria, which is one of the most beautiful areas in Italy, full of culture, history, art and last but not least beautiful unspoilt beaches.
