As you may have discovered, Rick does not cover this area in is books. Anthony, Lonely Planet Italy, and Insight Guides Southern Italy (it has 20 pages on RC). Write/email to the Italian Tourism board in your country and they will be most helpful. Mountains, beaches, tiny villages...
