Hi. We are doing a home exchange, so haven't really looked into accomodations. I always check Trip Advsor.
I did, though, just recently book our airfare to Cagliari. Booked through kayak.com. I ended up going with a flight from Bologna to Cagliari on Ryanair. It seems that there were flights (very reasonably priced) from Rome, Florence, Milan and Bolgna.
There is also a nice website that I found called: charmingsardinia.com
