We were planning to take the cable car from La Plaud to Chamonix but have been informed we can only take it as far as Rifugio Torino because of work being done at the refuge. We were also told we could take a bus to Chamonix, board the cable card there, and go as far as Aguille du Midi and back. I cannot tell from the maps which option would give us the best views. Does anyone have a suggestion?
