Do most cabs in Rome have room for four adults? Do they allow a passenger to sit up front as they do in some cities here?

Yes. Three in the back and one up front with the driver.

Yep no worries Jo. We just took a trip with 4 adults, 2 of which were over 300bls, and had no problems.

WATCH THE METER!! They will also take you the long way around, so know basically where you are going. Some cabbies are quick-change artists as well. Had trouble with cabbies in Rome last time around.
