We are 4 adults traveling to Sicily in April. We are flying into PMO and staying a few days in Palermo but don’t really need or want a car in Palermo. We are thinking we would take a train to Agrigento and pick up a car there and use it for the rest of our trip (agrigento, Siracusa, Taormina and back to Palermo). We need a car that will fit 4 adults and 4 pieces of luggage. When I search kayak, no options come up to pick up a car in agrigento. Can anyone give me advice on how best to do this? Thank you

Make sure your pick up/drop off times are during open hours (closed Sun, close at noon on Sat, closed mid day 12-4 ish)
I don’t think any of the well known brands are available in Agrigento (europcar, sixt, etc

According to Google Maps, there is an Avis car rental in Agrigento.

In 2023 we had a car from Avis and returned it in Agrigento. We walked to train station from there to go on to Palermo. Not far at all.
