Buying tickets from Trenitalia website as non registered user

I tried to buy tickets from Trenitalia website as u non registered user but I got the following message *Warning: for purchases without registration is not provided an invoice* . Does anybody knows what exactly it means and how it can affect the travel? Thank you very much.

You don't need to register, in fact, you cannot, you have to be an Italian citizen to do that.
This will not affect your purchase, you just continue without registering.

Print out the receipt/ticket you get and take it with you to show the conductor...and keep a back up in an email.

It will not affect your travel in any way.

I registered with trenitalia a few years ago, just involved my email address and a password. Was no problem and to date I still receive train info and special price discounts, in English and Italian! Is and was no problem to register, so not sure why not registering would be an issue. Nice little reminder of our great holiday that I planned in Italy, a few years ago.

When you register you must provide an Italian address so unless you have one, you cannot register. The only reason to register would be to view your tickets online. You will receive an email with your confirmation code on it so there is no need to register. Just go on with your purchase.

I long ago registered and I don't have an Italian address.

I get frequent emails from Trenitalia offering all sorts of specials, a few of which have been of value to me.

It is particularly useful to register because if your confirmation email gets lost in the mire of the web you can view your purchases and reprint.
