Buying tickets for the Borghese

Trying to order tickets for the Borghese Museum is frustrating. There seem to be many websites. Is tosc.it the correct one?

Is it possible/customary to ask your Rome hotel to get you tickets?

Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I don't think you can count on there being tickets available for you hotel to get you. When we were then a couple of weeks ago they had a sign saying they were sold out for the day.

I think that the tickets only go up a couple of months ahead.

We were in Rome two weeks ago with a RS group. Folks in our group saw the sign about tickets being sold out, but decided to try anyway. Upon arrival, there were tickets available. Not sure how to predict this outcome, other than just showing up.

Can anyone advise on which site is actually the official site for tickets?

From the Borghese Gallery site you are taken to this site for tickets: https://borghese.gallery/tickets/ which goes to a tiqets.com site which offers guided tours by Loving Rome.
Earlier in this thread it was recommended to use this site as the official ticket site: https://www.tosc.it/en/artist/galleria-borghese/galleria-borghese-2253937/

It seems to me that the official site is the borghese.gallery site but can anyone advise? I was surprised to see guided tours offered from this site by another company.

Thank you.

borghese.gallery
is NOT the official site, scroll to bottom of that front page and you'll see who runs that site

THIS WEBSITE IS ABOUT THE BORGHESE GALLERY, CREATED WITH PASSION AND

As a rule of thumb, Italian museums use Italian words for their official sites. So the Galleria site is the official one, whereas the "gallery" site is a scam aimed at those who can only speak and think in English.

If you continue to have difficulties, try using a different browser. If that doesn't work, try a different device (tablet or phone rather than PC).

It is best to buy online well in advance. In a pinch, you can try buying at the door. We showed up in the morning and were able to buy two timed admission tickets for later in the afternoon. They may have been cancellations.

I am grateful for this conversation! I've been trying to access the official site for weeks, on different devices, different devices. Always times out.

Based on what was said here, I went to
https://www.tosc.it/en/artist/galleria-borghese/galleria-borghese-2253937/

and it opened with no problem. And it appears tickets are available in early May, when I need them.

The Borghese is the #1 thing I wanted to see in Rome and it was stressing me out that I couldn't get them. Thanks everyone for providing this info!
