Buying tickets for Milan Duomo in advance?

We will have a few hours in Milan on a Friday afternoon in July and would like to visit the Duomo and the rooftop. As such, we would like to purchase tickets in advance and avoid waiting in line if this is possible. Can we pre-purchase? If so, where? If not, is there any way to avoid long lines? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There should be no need to pre-purchase and their web link to do so doesn't seem to be working, any way.

I was there in October, so maybe not as crowded, but expo was also happening so maybe more busy than usual? I went to the roof ticket office in the morning, maybe 9:30 or so, and there was no line. It was nice in the morning. Still had to wait in the line to get in to the duomo but it went fast. If you use the ticket to also go to the duomo museum, however, go to the front of the line. This line was long with people buying tickets and you don't have to wait for them (this is for the museum separate from the duomo- not the extra sites inside).

When I was there, there were two places to purchase tickets: one on the right, front side as you face the entrance and one in the visitor information center in the building directly behind the Duomo. (I believe it was a visitor information center.). There was a line of about 25 people at the first location and no people in line at the second location. The prices were the same at each place. We purchased a ticket walked up the stairs to go up on the roof , but you can pay extra to take an elevator. It is well going on the roof. Make sure you go in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. I believe it was the first indoor shopping center and it is amazing. It is directly north of the Duomo (left side of the Duomo as you face it.) I really enjoyed Milan and wished I could have stayed longer than a day and night.
