Buying the Firenze Card on line.

We are planning on buying the Firenze Card on line for our trip to Italy. Must we make reservations for some of the museum's when we buy the card, if so, would it be better to make the reservations when we get to Florence?

Ed, you can make reservations before you purchase the card. I would make your reservations for the Uffizi and Accademia before you get to Florence for (I'm guessing) broadest choice of entry times..

See Adrienne's posts at the end of this thread as she made their reservations before purchasing the card and before their trip:

These are the only two museums requiring reservations that you are able make in advance from home. Climbing the dome at the duomo requires reservations as well but with the Firenzecard, you can only make those once you get to Florence. Unfortunately, all available time slots can be full by that point.
