Arriving in Civitavecchia by cruise line. I want to buy a sim card before we get on the train to Rome, I need to call the hotel about an hour before we get there. Does anyone have any experience getting a sim card between the cruise terminal and the train station? Gary

Doubt if you could do it. There is almost no commercial activity between the port entrance and the train station. There is a tobacco shop in east end of the station. Maybe a phone call and a call from the station since the train ride is about an hour (depending on which train)/ You might see if you can find a sim card at another port location in Italy prior to arrival.
