Buying reduced tickets

I will be travelling to Italy with my three kids in a month. My oldest daughter turns 18 in the middle of this trip. Can I purchase the reduced price tickets for her to see things, ie: Accademia or Duomo in Florence since she is 17 when I bought them, or a full price adult ticket as she turns 18 the day before we go. And for what its worth, yes, she looks older than she is. Thanks

If they just accept the ticket you would be fine. BUT - they can ask for identification and proof of age. When you buy the tickets doesn't count. It is when you are walking in. The downside risk is that if you get caught you lose the price of the minor tickets, plus the time and inconvenience of having to buy an adult ticket, if available. Don't risk it.
