Our extended family is staying in a villa for five days on Capri. We are interested in doing grocery shopping when we get there in order to have some basics on hand.
Is there such a thing as a reasonably priced market on the island?

I'm sure there are several grocery stores that aren't too expensive. Probably small mini-markets rather than Walmart size big box supermarkets. Just check the yellow pages

Yes but as Roberto said, they're mini markets so not the super-type you may be used to. They also (at least when we were there) tend to specialize in fruits/vegetables, meat, bread, etc. so you'll probably have to shop multiple places. All part of the fun!
