My fiance and I are planning an extended honeymoon in Europe. He came up with the idea of purchasing our fine china from Italy, while we plan to be there. Does anyone have any suggestions in regards to the best city and store to buy fine china? Any other comments in regards to this subject? Thank you!

It sounds like a great idea but logistically and practically not so. You are really better finding one special piece to remind you of your honeymoon andhand caring back home.
I have purchased beautiful italian handmade & painted goods from Italy which I love fortunately it was when the xchg rate was 40% better than today and made it worth the risk of breakage etc. Shipping also is very expensive and takes along time and over course there is customs delays or charges.Also there will be no returns if there is a problem. I hate to give all the pitfalls but you must consider them.
