Buying a Firenze Pass on Sunday NYE

Is it even possible? We're coming in from Venice on the train that day around 1:30. Didn't even think about it being Sunday or close to a holiday. There are a couple places open in Florence that Sunday (Santa Croce is one from what I can tell) and on New Year's Day that take the card. Not sure it's worth getting one if we can only use them Tuesday and Wednesday. Plus, we didn't want to have our time in Florence that rigidly scheduled by getting tickets in advance. For example, I've been to the Uffizi already and may not want to go again ... but once I get there may change my mind :) I know we have to schedule the Duomo no matter what we end up doing but their website isn't letting us schedule for January yet.

Anyway, any idea if it's possible to get a Firenze Card at the train station (or anywhere else for that matter) on a Sunday after 1 PM?

The web page lists locations, you should be able to pick it up at any open sight. Are you ordering it online? They will send you a voucher which you can show to exchange for the card. If the sight is open, you should be able to retrieve the card that day with your voucher.

We haven't purchased online. It looked like there were only a handful of places you can either buy the pass or pick up one with your voucher. One was the train station but I can't find any hours for the area you pick up the tickets. There is one location close to the hotel but they are only open until 1:00 on weekdays, didn't see weekend hours. The Palazzo Vecchio is one location but their official website isn't opening at the moment so I can't check their hours. I'm hoping my hotel can help sort it out.

Ha. I went and looked again. Palazzo Strozzi is open every day including holidays. I can buy it there. I'm a space cadet. LOL.
