Buy water taxi in advance?

We will be flying into Venice in June and I’m wondering if it’s necessary/helpful to buy water taxi tickets in advance?

It’s not really necessary

You could wait and book a shared water taxi at airport to save a bit

Or take the inexpensive bus and vaporetto combo

Depends where you are staying
