On Venezia Unica and other websites I'm finding, the full museum pass is a good deal more expensive than that listed in Rick Steve's 2019 guide (35 Eu vs. 24 Eu). I'm wondering if it's more expensive to buy these online ahead of time than IN Venice, or if simply the price has gone up a lot. Thanks for your ideas.
There’s a TI office at the train station. That’s where we purchased ours with our vaparetto pass. I don’t think it saved money but it was worth it to skip the line at Dogge.
Since I see the new rate at https://palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/en/pianifica-la-tua-visita/tickets/, I trust their info. Also, I see that our book editors have already made that change for the 2020 edition of the book.
And, as I recall, you can buy the combo pass at the Correr Museum which will allow you to skip the long ticket lines at the Doge's Palace. The Correr Museum was really interesting, by the way, and worth the hour and a half tour.
