Has anyone been to Busto Arsizio near Malpensa Airport? We are thinking of renting a car from Venice (not in the city of course), stopping at Mandello del Lario (stay for a few days), Como (spend the night), and MV Agusta on the way to Malpensa Airport, stay the night in Busto Arsizio. I am looking for a good town to stay at and a place to drop off the rental car.

Have you been to Milan before?
I may be missing something... Why would you rent a car just to drive from Venice to Mandello del Lario when you can easily get there by train?
If you've not visited Milan, you may want to stay near the historic center which is close to the Cadorna train station.
You can then take the 'Malpensa Express' train from Cadorna station to Malpensa & this only takes about 30 minutes.
