I am trying to get from Milan to either Rome, Verona, or Genova. On the trenitalia.it website, it shows the lateset departure time for all of those cities as 14:00. Are there trains that leave later that I am not seeing? Also, is there a bus option that may be cheaper? Thanks!

Hi Elizabeth.
A cursory check shows trains from Milan to each of those cities after 1700. I'm sure there are later ones too. Make sure you are entering a day/dates a week or two from now that corresponds to the day of the week you plan to travel. i.e., if you plan to travel on Monday, plug in May 9. That will give you an idea as schedules don't change much. I did not look at busses as I am not familiar with them. Ciao!
