There are quite a few HopOnHopOff bus tours in Rome. Do any of you have a strong preference for one over the others? Thanks.

The HO/HO buses in Rome don't get good reviews. They don't get close to most sites because they are in pedestrian zones and there are always complaints about headsets not working and having to wait for long periods for a bus to show up. I would either walk of take a public bus in order to get around.

I agree with Donna. If you buy a city map of Rome, some show transportation routes, others have a little booklet which includes numbers and routes.
