Hi! We are trying to book a bus (SENA) from Rome to Siena...but I notice that the yellow section I can make choices, but the rest of the departures are blue, and will not allow me to choose them. I really don't want to leave at 6AM from Rome, and would prefer the later times. Can anyone tell me what the yellow/blue sections mean? Thanks..

Take the TRAIN from Rome to Firenze (Florence) and then bus to Siena. Best way IMHO. I've done it a number of times. A bus will drive you crazy that distance.
Click on the radio button under "Seleziona" for the run at the time you choose. That selction will become yellow and you can proceed and book it.
Thank you both very much!
It's all opinion I guess, but I really think the bus is the best option. It's direct and comfy and provides lot's of options for schedule. Not to mention that most people that do take the train take it to Chiusi and transfer there for the train to Siena. Going all the way to Florence and then taking a bus would add considerable time to the trip. And now you know how to select the bus option you want (or you could buy the tickets at the ticket booth).
Douglas is right about the Train route. Don't go all the way to Florence if you decide on doing it that way. I personally just don't like bus travel for long distances. I usually spend a few nights in Florence before going to Siena, and that's how I've done it.
Thank you all! We have just bought a bus ticket from Rome to Siena...24 Euro each. Liz
