Two years ago when we were in Venice, my son had to leave to catch a flight to Austria. I remember that there was a coach bus that he caught just past the train station (if looking at station then to the left). I vaguely remember going in to like a tourist office to buy the ticket. Does anyone know if this bus still exists going to the airport?
of course, they run regularly. there is a vaporetto stop for Piazzale Roma which is where the buses are and the ticket office. There is also a bridge you can walk across from the train station side of the canal.
There is the No 5 bus, which is a low-floor articulated bus that goes every 15 minutes and makes stops along the way. There is also the ATVO bus that is direct. And we are talking Santa Lucia station right? There is also a bus, to the left, from Mestre station on the mainland.
Yes the Santa Lucia station
Unless things have changed, one can add a one or two way bus ticket to a Vaporetto pass -- if you are going to be using a vap. pass anyway.
