We would like to take the bus from Rome to Sorrento then return to Rome by bus. My question is does the bus run on Sunday? If anyone has any information on the bus schedule between Rome and Sorrento please let me know. Thanks

Marozzi Lines runs the bus from Rome to Sorrento. Website is mostly in Italian. Go here: http://www.marozzivt.it/script/biglietteria.aspx?tipobigl=marozzi Click on "Ricerca orari corse", then enter your planned travel date, your origin and your destination, and you'll see the schedule for that day. Be sure to enter "Roma", not "Rome." You didn't say when you were going, but in August there is one bus on Sundays - which leaves Rome at 7 AM.

Thanks for the information. I am looking at the websites to see what is available. We may do the train as the day we are traveling is a Sunday. One website indicated the Curreri does not have Sunday Service and the Mazzori only runs late afternoon, If anyone has information we are overlooking please let us know. We are still searching websites. Thanks

Curreri Viaggi also offers bus service between Rome and Sorrento every day EXCEPT Sunday.

Have you thought about the train? Seems like it would be a better option although you do have to change trains in Naples.
