Bus service from Cinque Terre or La Spezia to Pignone?

We'll be in CT from Oct 1 -6. We went about same time last year and had a wonderful time, but this year I think we'll venture out of town during mid day at least once or twice to avoid the day tripping crowd.

We have an apartment in Vernazza literally right over the water so we'll be on the terrace a lot. I was planning on going to other seaside villages but Pignone looks nice and it might be good to spend some time in the mountains since we'll be getting plenty of water time.

I tried finding bus info but struck out. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Rome2Rio.com says the public transportation route would be through La Spezia, where you'd pick up a bus. But the bus seems to run only twice a day, so that might not be terribly practical. The distance is short enough that a taxi would not be crazy-expensive; the website estimates $30-$35. Or (again, if Rome2Rio can be trusted) you can walk it in about 2-1/2 hours. Have no idea what the terrain is like.
