The TRAIN schedules are almost impossible to read. Certainly there is service, but one can't tell by reading the schedules. Anyone know of a site with the schedules distilled for the mere (foreign) mortal? Thanks.
I'm not sure that there is train service between the two, since any rail schedule I look at calls the stop "Poggibonsi-San Gimignano" with the station actually in Poggibonsi. I would think bus service would be the connection of choice, since the two towns are only about 8 miles apart.
Further...bus schedules between the two can be found at http://www.sangimignano.net/bus
I should have made it clearer. I capitalized "TRAIN" because that's the name of the BUS company that serves the area. See www.trainspa.it. I finally found and think I interpreted correctly the 130A/R schedules. Yikes! Like the old-style rail and air schedules from years ago. What I don't know and haven't figured yet (and probably won't) is whether there are other connecting schedules between Sienna, Poggibonsi, and S.G. and how to figure them out.
