I wonder if someone could give me d info on the above,the only schedule I've found on the web is from 2008. We are to stay in San Gimignano and plan a day trip to Florence to visit both the Accademia and the Uffizi,so obviously timing is crucial. Thanks in advance

The SITA bus makes this run. You will need to change buses in Poggibonsi. Watch out for the lighter bus schedule on Sundays. Here's the link. The schedule is on page 2. It's also in Italian. http://www.sitabus.it/sita-toscana/Firenze-S%20Gimignano2010.pdf
